Director of Pharmacy

A premier academic health system in the Boston metro area is seeking a Senior Director to lead all Retail and Community Health Center pharmacy operations across a large, integrated network. Reporting directly to the Chief Pharmacy Officer, this executive will oversee multi-site operations, financial performance, growth strategy, specialty alignment, payer relationships, and regulatory compliance. This is a Monday–Friday, 100% onsite executive role with significant system-wide visibility and influence and upward mobility. Write your ticket with this level experience and scope of influence.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (advanced degree preferred), an active Massachusetts pharmacist license prior to start, and 10+ years of progressive pharmacy leadership experience including Director-level (or higher) oversight. Strong preference for big-box retail pharmacy leadership backgrounds with demonstrated success in operational scaling, financial management, and regulatory excellence.
The local community offers plenty to do in the big city environment while making an executive-level impact within a nationally respected academic health system serving a diverse patient population. Compensation ranges from $190K–$225K+ (negotiable for the right candidate) with performance-based bonus potential and negotiable sign-on package.
