Quick Facts

  • Monday through Friday schedule with weekend and night call — 1:2 rotation
  • 10 – 12 patients per day with 1 – 5 procedures daily
  • Split role — morning rounds and OR time, afternoon clinic for follow-ups
  • Coverage needed 1 – 2 weeks per month
  • Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures including CABG, TAVR, AAA, AVR, MVR
  • Adult patient population only
  • Maquet system used for endoscopic vessel harvesting
  • Hospital-based practice setting
