Seeking a Trauma/Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for a progressive, non-profit teaching hospital in West Texas. This highly clinical role includes multidisciplinary rounding with trauma and internal medicine teams, trauma/code response, antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetic dosing, anticoagulation management, and resident/student precepting. Choose between an 8-on/6-off daytime schedule or a traditional Monday-Friday schedule. Compensation starts at $57.50/hr for PGY1-trained pharmacists and $59.00/hr. for PGY2-trained pharmacists, with a potential $20,000-$30,000 sign-on bonus and negotiable relocation assistance.
Candidates must possess a Texas pharmacist license (or be eligible to obtain prior to starting), a BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree, and either a PGY1 residency or at least three years of relevant hospital clinical experience. PGY2 training and board certification are preferred. This position is best suited for a clinically strong, team-oriented pharmacist who enjoys practicing at the top of their license in a collaborative teaching hospital environment.
